Emperor Labs built Retax an agent that searches for potential properties with agreed parameters and gathers them for an expert to review.
Starting point
Retax carries out property tax assessments and investigates properties where the use, classification or other grounds for taxation may need to be reviewed.
Identifying suitable properties required a lot of manual information searching and preliminary screening before the actual expert assessment.
What we did
Retax got an agent that handles the initial screening of properties based on parameters agreed in advance. The work included:
- Searching for properties based on agreed search criteria
- Gathering potential properties into a single view
- Structuring the relevant information for expert review
- Compiling suitable properties for expert review
Outcome
The agent gathers the properties that match the agreed criteria for an expert to review, and separates the initial information search from the expert’s actual assessment.
The solution does not make property tax assessments or tax decisions. A Retax expert always assesses each property found, its tax treatment and any further action.
