Working with Ekonia Oy started from looking at the company’s everyday work and current practices. The goal was not to adopt AI for its own sake, but to find concrete tasks where it could make work easier or lead to entirely new tools.
Starting point
Ekonia wanted to find out, in practice, where AI fits their operations and where it doesn’t.
Instead of starting from a ready-made AI product, we started from Ekonia’s own tasks and problems. Only after identifying them did we assess where AI or automation could bring practical benefit.
What we did
The collaboration mapped AI use cases suited to Ekonia’s operations and took selected ideas to prototypes. The work included, among other things:
- Ideation and prototyping of tools related to reporting and maintenance work
- Identifying and testing AI use cases suited to Ekonia’s everyday work
- Reviewing current work tasks from an automation and AI perspective
- Assessing development opportunities for online visibility and search optimisation
Outcome
Selected use cases have been taken into limited prototypes, which make it possible to assess in practice whether an idea solves the right problem and is worth developing further. This way new solutions can be tested on a small scale before larger implementations.
In the collaboration, the potential of AI has been assessed through Ekonia’s own workflows and needs, not as isolated technology solutions.
