How Emperor Labs uses AI

Transparent about AI

Emperor Labs develops software and AI-powered solutions. We want to be clear about when our services use AI and what role a person plays in how they work.

The transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (EU) 2024/1689 apply to certain uses of AI. When a feature in our service is one where the user needs to know they are interacting with AI, we disclose this in connection with that feature.

AI in our products

Some of our products use language models, for example to classify messages, structure information and produce drafts.

AI-generated suggestions are intended to support human work. Where a service's operation includes human approval or review before information is sent or another action is taken, this happens as part of that service's workflow.

Not all Emperor Labs products use AI. We disclose AI-powered features where the information is relevant to the user.

Human responsibility

Content produced by AI may be inaccurate or incomplete. For this reason, our products are designed so that the role of AI and the responsibility of the person are understandable to the user.

Emperor Labs' AI solutions are not intended to make autonomous decisions about people without appropriate human involvement.

Content and software development

We may use AI tools to help draft text, analyse information and develop software, among other things. Emperor Labs is always responsible for the content it publishes and the software it delivers.
